A living twin of your home
Show Claude your floor plan, a photo or a sketch, or just describe it. Larea keeps a 2D and 3D copy of the home you live in, follows it as the real one changes, and never passes a guess off as a fact.

Your home, as it really is
CAD wants weeks of practice, and floor planners make you draw a home from scratch. Larea copies the one you already have, from your plan and your words, and keeps track of where each fact came from.
Start from your plan
A floor plan, a room photo or a sketch on paper. What Larea reads is a proposal you check against the real home first.
Keep it in step
A new sofa, a repainted wall, a socket that moved: say what changed in your own words and units, and the twin follows.
Never a guess shown as fact
Every element records where it came from. A wall read from a photo never looks like a measured one.
Asks when it isn’t sure
If “the bedroom” could mean two rooms, you get a question. It never picks one for you.
Your home’s history
Every change is a version, so you can open the home as it was before the renovation. Nothing is lost.
Try it before you make it
Preview a new floor or a furniture layout on the twin, by chat or by dragging it in the web app. Undo puts it back as your home is.
Honest about what it knows
Every wall, pipe and sofa remembers where it came from, and the twin draws the difference. You always know what was measured and what was guessed.
- Verified
- Checked by a named professional. Nothing else is ever called verified.
- Stated by you
- Something you told Claude. Used everywhere, labelled as yours.
- Inferred
- Read from a floor plan or a photo. A proposal until you confirm it.
- Unknown
- Not measured yet. Left empty, never filled with a default.
How a sentence updates the twin
Claude understands what you mean. Larea decides what it touches. Each step is explicit, so a loose phrase never edits the wrong wall.
- Step 1
You say it
In your own words and units: “we put a white oak floor in the kitchen”.
- Step 2
It finds the element
“The kitchen floor” matches exactly one element, or none. Two candidates means a question.
- Step 3
It checks the rules
A sofa has to fit inside its room. A wall can’t go while a door still sits in it.
- Step 4
It saves a version
Each change is recorded with who made it. Preview it first, or undo it afterwards.
Three homes, three conversations
Worked examples of what people ask Larea and what comes back. Every tool named here is one Claude really calls.
“Here’s the floor plan from the listing. It’s the first floor, and the scale bar is 2 m.”

I read six rooms. The bathroom’s outline is unclear on the scan, so I left its size unknown. Check them before I add anything.

The armchair and the socket by the window came from a photo and are unconfirmed. Nothing in the room is verified yet.

Here’s the preview: white oak replaces the tiles across the whole kitchen. Nothing is saved, so the twin still shows your tiles.

Start with the home you have
Larea is an MCP server. Add it to Claude Code once, then talk to your home from any session. It runs locally today; a hosted server, signed in with a personal API key, comes next.
1Add the server from the Larea repository
